Imported Contributions lets you bring content you already have into Deeto and start distributing it right away. Instead of starting with an empty repository, you can take materials you already own — reviews, testimonials, case studies, PDFs, or links — and make them available through Deeto’s widgets, microsites, and sales enablement tools from day one.

Why it matters

Building a content library from scratch takes time. Imported Contributions skips the empty-repository phase entirely. You get a working library of shareable, usable content immediately. Beyond storage, Deeto uses AI to extract key insights from imported content — pulling out quotes, testimonials, and other valuable statements — and can generate additional content pieces from a single import. One case study can become multiple usable assets.

Common use cases

Faster onboarding — Build your Knowledge Hub in minutes with materials you already own, so you have something ready to share before your first campaign is even live. Repurposing existing materials — Organize marketing content, case studies, or account-specific documentation into personalized microsites and website widgets. Extracting additional value — Deeto’s AI pulls quotes and key statements from imported materials and generates additional content pieces that work across multiple channels — G2, widgets, microsites, and campaigns.

How to import assets

  1. Go to Knowledge Hub in your Deeto workspace
  2. In the Voice of customer section, click Import as (top right)
  3. Choose your import type — File (PDF) or Link (external URL including video links)
  4. Upload your file or paste your link
  5. Deeto automatically extracts metadata, summarizes the content, and applies AI-generated tags
  6. Review imported assets in the Raw tab — they start as Pending until your team approves them
  7. Approve assets to make them available across microsites, widgets, and campaigns

Supported formats

  • PDF files — case studies, testimonials, whitepapers, documentation
  • External links — website URLs, video links, G2 review URLs, any publicly accessible link

Where imported content appears

Once approved, imported assets:
  • Appear in the Raw tab of your Knowledge Hub Voice of customer section
  • Are searchable alongside natively collected content
  • Can be added to microsites and website widgets
  • Are accessible via the Personal AI Assistant for natural language queries

Best practices

Audit before you import — Prioritize recent, high-quality assets that reflect your current product and messaging. Outdated content can create confusion for prospects. Verify permissions — Confirm that imported content has proper customer approval for continued use before importing materials that contain customer statements. Review AI-generated tags — Deeto applies tags automatically, but reviewing and refining them ensures content surfaces accurately in search results and filters. Use it on day one — The best time to import is during initial setup. A populated Knowledge Hub makes every subsequent workflow — microsites, campaigns, sales enablement — more effective from the start.
