In Deeto, content generation campaigns map to the Existing advocates campaign type (Questionnaire format). Go to Workflows → Campaigns → Create campaign and select Existing advocates to get started.
1. Segment your audience
Think carefully about who you’re asking. Break your audience down by:- Industry or company size
- Role — decision-makers versus everyday users
- Stage in their journey with you
- Which product or feature they use most
2. Pick a topic your customers care about
Choose something that reflects a real win, challenge, or outcome they’ve experienced. Strong topic examples:- “How has [feature] changed the way you work?”
- “Tell us about a win your team had using [product].”
3. Make the reward clear
Incentives work. Tell people exactly what they’ll receive and why it’s worth their time. Mention the reward in:- The subject line
- The campaign message
- Every follow-up email
4. Plan multiple follow-up emails
One email is not enough. Plan for at least four follow-ups:- A gentle reminder for people who didn’t open the first message
- A value-focused nudge for people who opened but didn’t click
- A deadline-driven final message for people who started but didn’t submit
5. Keep questions simple
Deeto’s contribution experience is designed to be straightforward. Match that simplicity in your questions:- Ask about one topic per campaign
- Give examples when it helps (“For example, you might mention…”)
- Let contributors save and come back later — not everyone finishes in one sitting
6. Put submissions to work
Once customers submit, Deeto automatically organizes their content in your Knowledge Hub — tagged by topic, searchable, and ready to activate. From there, use it across:- Sales materials and deal support
- Personalized customer microsites
- Marketing campaigns and website widgets
- Reference program proof points
