How it works

Deeto enables G2 sync for your account

Your Customer Success Manager coordinates with G2 to enable access for your products and configures your G2 Product IDs and Review Page URL in your workspace.

Auto-detection

Deeto automatically identifies and connects to your G2 account based on your domain or email — no API keys or manual linking required.

Daily sync begins

Deeto fetches new reviews from G2 daily. After setup, your reviews appear in the Knowledge Hub within 24 hours. New reviews are fetched automatically each day going forward.

Review and approve

Imported reviews are held for your team’s approval in Alert Center → Imported G2 Reviews. No content is published without your explicit approval.

Activate approved content

Approved reviews become content objects — usable across the platform in microsites, widgets, sales decks, and campaigns.
You can view your G2 configuration at any time under Settings → Integrations → G2 Reviews → Manage.

New G2 reviews typically appear in Deeto within 24 hours of being posted on G2.

How reviews are processed

What gets imported: Deeto extracts the review text (what the reviewer likes, dislikes, and recommends), star rating, reviewer name and company, industry, company size, review dates, and the G2 review URL. Approval: All imported reviews start with Under Review status and appear in Alert Center → Imported G2 Reviews. No content is used or published without your team’s approval. You can approve, reject, or edit reviews before publishing. You can also tag reviews to sort by product, use case, sentiment, or any other criteria. Reference matching: Deeto automatically checks if a G2 reviewer matches an existing reference in your system by comparing reviewer names against your account contacts. If a match is found, the review is linked to that reference’s profile. If no match exists, you can invite the reviewer to become a reference directly from the approval flow.

Troubleshooting

Confirm the G2 integration has been configured by your Deeto team. Allow up to 24 hours for the first sync to complete. Ensure your G2 profile has public reviews visible on G2.
Confirm the integration is still active under Settings → Integrations → G2 Reviews. Check that the review is publicly visible on G2. Reviews typically appear within 24 hours of being posted.
