## General Styling

This is the foundation. Settings here flow through to every other surface.

**Logos**

You can upload two logo files:

| Field                        | Where it appears                                              |
| ---------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Full logo** | Platform header, email header, microsite header, portal pages |
| **Small logo / Square logo** | Favicon, compact UI areas |

Use a PNG or SVG file with a transparent background. SVG is recommended — it scales cleanly at any size and displays sharply on all screens and in all email clients.

**Brand colors**

| Field               | Where it appears                                                        |
| ------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Primary color** | Buttons, links, and key UI elements across all customer-facing surfaces |
| **Secondary color** | Supporting visual elements and backgrounds |

Enter your exact hex codes (e.g. #2B5EA7). Pull them directly from your brand guidelines — even small color discrepancies are noticeable to customers familiar with your brand.

**Border radius**

Controls how rounded buttons and UI elements appear across customer-facing surfaces. A higher value creates more rounded corners; a lower value creates sharper edges.

## Emails

Controls the look of every automated email Deeto sends on your behalf — campaign invitations, reference outreach, reminders, and confirmations.

| Setting              | What it does                                          |
| -------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| **Email header** | Upload your logo to appear at the top of all emails |
| **Background image** | Upload a background image for the email header area |
| **Button color** | The color of call-to-action buttons inside emails |
| **Footer** | Add your company name, contact info, and social links |

<Tip>
  Preview your email template on both desktop and mobile before sending your first campaign. Email clients render backgrounds and images differently — a quick check catches issues early.

## Microsites

Controls how prospect-facing microsites appear when shared by your team during deal cycles.

| Setting               | What it does                                                    |
| --------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Header background** | Color or image shown in the microsite header area |
| **Button colors** | CTA button styling on microsite pages |
| **Logo** | Pulled from General Styling by default; override here if needed |

A live preview updates as you change settings so you can see exactly what prospects will see before saving.

## Customer Stories

Controls the layout of your public-facing customer stories page.

| Layout                  | Description                                                          |
| ----------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Carousel** | Scrolling horizontal carousel — unlimited stories, one row at a time |
| **Gallery (3 per row)** | Grid layout showing 3 stories per row |
| **Gallery (4 per row)** | Grid layout showing 4 stories per row |

## AI Interview

Controls the branded welcome screen customers see before starting an AI interview conversation.

| Setting                 | What it does                                        |
| ----------------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| **Welcome heading** | The main headline shown on the welcome screen |
| **Welcome description** | Supporting text below the heading that sets context |
| **Background image** | Visual backdrop for the welcome screen |
| **Logo** | Pulled from General Styling by default |

A live preview shows how the welcome screen will appear to your customers as you make changes.

<Tip>
  Frame the welcome heading around the customer's contribution, not data collection. "Your voice shapes our roadmap" consistently outperforms "Please complete this survey."

## Other tabs

These tabs control branding for specific platform surfaces. Settings follow the same pattern — logo, colors, and background — applied to their respective context.

| Tab                       | When it matters                                                             |
| ------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Reference Dashboard** | The portal your references log into to manage their profile and activity |
| **Campaign Onboarding** | The screens customers see when they accept a campaign invitation |
| **Self Register Program** | The page customers land on when signing up as a reference via a shared link |
| **Shared Assets** | Pages shown when a shared asset link is opened by a recipient |

## Best practices

**Use exact hex codes.** Pull them directly from your brand guidelines. Even small discrepancies are visible to customers who know your brand.

**Use SVG or high-resolution PNG for logos.** Low-resolution logos look unprofessional on high-DPI screens. Choose SVG or a PNG at 2x resolution with a transparent background.

**Ensure sufficient contrast.** Test your color combinations against WCAG contrast requirements — a minimum ratio of 4.5:1 for body text. Free tools like WebAIM's contrast checker make this quick.

**Keep the palette simple.** Two or three brand colors used consistently outperform five used inconsistently.

**Test on mobile.** Check that your logo scales well, buttons are thumb-friendly, and text is legible on phones before finalizing.

**Update branding before your first send.** Color and logo changes apply immediately to new content. Email changes apply to future sends only.

  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What file formats are supported for logo upload?">

  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why does the widget look different from my other branded surfaces?">
    The website widget styling is controlled separately. Workspace branding settings do not automatically apply to the widget. Contact your Customer Success Manager for widget styling guidance.
